Home shirt as worn when Guus Hiddink took over as Real Madrid manager who after a run of poor form was sacked in February to be replaced by former Madrid manager John Toshack. Toshack led the team to a second place finish in La Liga but did manage to lead the club to its eighth European title as Madrid beat Valencia 3-0 in the Champions League final.
